Aaron Hibell has just dropped his debut album SYNCHRONICITY, and it is everything we hoped it would be.

If you’ve been following Aaron Hibell and his rise, you already know he crafts soundscapes like few others can. Now, with his debut album SYNCHRONICITY, out on Astralwerks / Capitol Records, he has truly outdone himself.

Aaron Hibell has had quite the rise. From viral remixes to his beloved Monastery of Sound mixtape series, he has spent the last few years earning the attention of electronic music fans worldwide. With momentum firmly on his side, a debut album always felt like the natural next step. And now, here we are.

Spanning 11 tracks, the album is what Hibell calls his “most personal project” to date. Press play and you will feel exactly why. The concept explores invisible patterns and meaningful moments in life that feel almost beyond explanation. As Hibell puts it, “If someone listens and feels a sense of wonder, the record has done its job.”

Opening track “ascension” sets the tone boldly, weaving in Dylan Thomas’ poem Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. From there, the album moves gracefully between dancefloor-ready house, melodic techno and sweeping cinematic atmospheres. Vocal highlights like “million angels,” “s.o.s.” and “set me free” featuring Alex Wann are particularly stunning.

Right at the heart of the record sits “quasar,” a deliberate burst of high-energy chaos. Running at 148 BPM, it hits like peak hour on your favourite dancefloor. After that jolt of energy, however, the album pulls you gently back into calmer territory.

The closing stretch is where SYNCHRONICITY truly shines brightest. “The last sunset” washes over you like a quiet new beginning. Then, “morning light” and “ghost” featuring HUMAN round things off beautifully. Together, they leave you wrapped in sweeping melodies and airy warmth long after the final note fades.

Overall, this is an album that genuinely rewards repeated listens. Go give SYNCHRONICITY a spin, and keep an eye out for Aaron Hibell and his upcoming album tour.
