Armin van Buuren delivers ID-heavy mainstage set at Ultra Miami 2026: Relive

Armin van Buuren returned to the Ultra Miami 2026 Mainstage on Saturday with a powerful performance that blended brand-new material, unexpected mashups and classic trance moments. Opening the set with ‘Awake (Intro Edit)’, the Dutch icon immediately established a cinematic atmosphere before transitioning into ‘Set Me Free (Rising Star Remix)’ featuring SACHA, who joined him on stage early in the performance.

From there, the set quickly shifted toward unreleased music. Armin premiered a new collaboration with Eli Brown, followed by an additional unreleased track titled ‘Love Is The Final Word’, giving the Ultra crowd an early taste of upcoming material. Meanwhile, the momentum continued with ‘Lost In Time’ alongside Alle Farben and ROSY, before Armin dropped the DJ KUBA & Neitan remix of ‘Heavy’ with JOA, pushing the tempo toward a more driving festival sound.

One of the standout moments arrived when Armin van Buuren revived his Rising Star alias, debuting a brand-new Rising Star ID during the set. The appearance of the alias – long associated with Armin’s deeper trance roots – immediately sparked excitement among fans. The performance also featured a notable remix moment as Armin played ‘Enjoy The Silence’ (Armin van Buuren & Silver Panda Remix), adding a modern progressive twist to the Depeche Mode classic.

Later in the set, Armin delivered a series of mashups, including a blend of HI-LO, Martin Garrix, Libby Whitehouse, and Ørjan Nilsen, before debuting another unreleased collaboration with Adam Beyer titled ‘No Mercy’.

As the set approached its closing stretch, Armin introduced ‘Always You’, the ASOT 2026 Elevation Anthem with Richard Durand and Dicosis, before moving into fan favorites like ‘Go All Night’, ‘Vem Comigo’, and a Benwal remix of ‘This Is What It Feels Like’. With a mix of exclusive premieres, new collaborations and nostalgic moments, Armin once again demonstrated why his Ultra Miami performances remain among the festival’s most anticipated.
