Chicane celebrates 30 years with orchestral show at Royal Festival Hall

Chicane will celebrate 30 years of music with a special live performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall on August 22, 2026.

The show will feature a full orchestra and live band, recreating some of the British producer’s most iconic tracks in a new cinematic format. Following the success of last year’s sold-out orchestral performance, the upcoming event promises another immersive experience that blends electronic music with classical instrumentation inside one of London’s most prestigious concert venues. Behind Chicane stands Nick Bracegirdle, a producer and composer who has played a key role in shaping melodic electronic music since the mid-1990s. Over the past three decades, his work has crossed the boundaries between trance, chill-out, and progressive electronic music, creating a sound recognized for its emotional melodies and atmospheric production.

His discography includes landmark releases such as ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’, ‘Behind The Sun’, and ‘Somersault’, alongside global hits like ‘Saltwater’, ‘Offshore’, and the chart-topping ‘Don’t Give Up’ featuring Bryan Adams. These records helped define the sound of late-1990s and early-2000s dance music while continuing to influence producers across multiple genres.

While many artists from the era slowed down over time, Chicane has remained consistently active. He continues to release new music, tour internationally, and perform extended DJ sets that combine classic records with modern productions. At the same time, his Sun:Sets radio show and podcast continues to reach listeners around the world, reinforcing his influence within the global electronic music community.
