Claude VonStroke details new album and shares ‘Static In The Deep End’: Listen

After 20 years, Claude VonStroke is confident in his own passion for music and avoiding the trends of the modern dance scene. With this mindset, he returns with an exciting new album as he embarks on a small club tour.

Later this year, Claude VonStroke will deliver his new album, Wrong Number, compiling a collection of tracks that fuel the producer’s passion, not the industry machine. Devoid of major collaborations or massive festival builds, the release purposely drifts away from the noise and structure that is found in modern dance music. His move away from peak-time tech house has him shifting gears, and nearly all of the album’s vocals are from the VonStroke family, primarily his son Jasper. With the album’s first single, Static In The Deep End, fans are given a taste of what is to come from the project. Built over a minimalistic approach, with a driving kick and plenty of ear candy, VonStroke is cultivating a vibe for those passionate about something different.

Sticking with his more minimalist, anti-industry construct, Claude VonStroke is hitting the road, but focusing on small capacity rooms for a more intimate experience. Kicking things off on March 14th in Los Angeles at the 1720 Warehouse, he has one more US date before a stop in Japan in early April. From there, he will dart around, playing in Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Norway, before he wraps up back in Germany. For fans of VonStroke and the more minimalist, club-focused productions of yesteryear, Wrong Number will certainly provide an escape to the long-lost German house labels.
