750 evacuated after fire tears through German nightclub

Around 750 people evacuated safely after a fire broke out at K Club, a nightclub located in Kehl, Germany, near the French border. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 AM on Saturday, March 28, prompting a rapid emergency response and the evacuation of everyone inside the venue.

According to local police, the blaze spread quickly through the building, with images circulating online showing flames breaking through the club’s roof. Despite the scale of the fire, no serious injuries occurred, and authorities confirmed that all guests and staff members managed to leave the venue safely.

Emergency services quickly mobilized. Approximately 80 personnel from fire departments, police units, and emergency medical teams arrived at the scene to contain the situation and ensure the safety of those present. While no one sustained injuries from the fire itself, three individuals received treatment on site for shock.

Following the incident, K Club released a statement reassuring the public about the outcome.

“Following the fire that occurred last night, we are relieved to inform you that everyone present – customers and staff alike – are safe and sound. The evacuation was carried out quickly and under the best possible conditions.”

Although the fire caused extensive structural damage to the building, the venue emphasized that the consequences were purely material.

Located close to the French border, K Club has developed a reputation as a hub for Amapiano, 3-Step, Afro house, and dancehall events, recently hosting artists such as Tyler ICU and DJ Phaphane. The venue also had an upcoming live show scheduled with BadGalBamby in the coming weeks.
