While streaming and mix shows represent a large element of tastemaking in the modern music industry, the club scene is still an important indicator for what fans are into. With this in mind, the team at Bootshaus began an imprint of its own, looking to push artists and tracks that reflect the culture and energy cultivated within the iconic nightclub. With the label officially releasing new music as of February of this year, it is quickly pumping out must-hear tracks, including the latest from Mausio & Trancemaster Krause. Titled Where Did You Go, the two producers combine the racing energy of techno with elements of modern trance for an infectious single that works on and off the dance floor.

Earlier this year, Bootshaus, one of the most revered names in dance music, shared that it would begin its own imprint. For its latest offering, Mausio & Trancemaster Krause come together for a powerful yet infectious new single.

Built on a foundation of racing percussion and a pounding bassline, the soft vocal melody counteracts the production with perfect balance. At their peak, the track pulses, delivering the high-energy that Bootshaus attendees expect from the iconic space. The mastery of the single comes when Mausio and Trancemaster Krause pull back, clearing away the bass and percussion as a piano melody and the vocal sample hold the attention of listeners. With the release of Where Did You Go, both the artists and imprint continue to stay at the forefront of the dance music culture.
