Melanie C releases empowering new single ‘Undefeated Champion’ and announces global tour

Pop icon and dancefloor favorite Melanie C has returned with her uplifting new single ‘Undefeated Champion’, while simultaneously announcing the upcoming Melanie C World Tour and her ninth studio album ‘Sweat’, set for release May 1, 2026.

Built around a powerful message of resilience, ‘Undefeated Champion’ captures the joyful, club-ready energy that defines the upcoming ‘Sweat’ era. The track blends euphoric production with one of Melanie’s most empowering messages to date.

Speaking about the release, Melanie C explained the inspiration behind the record:

A global tour celebrating her pop and dance legacy

Alongside the single, Melanie C has unveiled plans for the Melanie C World Tour, which will bring the high-energy spirit of ‘Sweat’ to fans worldwide.

The tour will begin in Montreal on September 8, before visiting cities including Toronto, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Chicago, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. After the North American leg, the tour will continue across the UK and Europe in October, followed by Asia and Australia in November.

Known for her electrifying live performances, Melanie C will blend her iconic pop catalog with her evolution as a DJ, delivering a set built around dancefloor energy and fan-favorite hits.

From rave culture to a new era with ‘Sweat’

Before becoming part of the global phenomenon Spice Girls, Melanie Chisholm experienced early rave culture firsthand while dancing through the Costa Brava club scene in the early 1990s. Those formative experiences continue to influence her music today.

Recorded across London, Stockholm, and Los Angeles, the upcoming album ‘Sweat’ celebrates movement, freedom and community while bridging Melanie C’s pop legacy with her modern club-driven sound.

Meanwhile, she will also perform a live DJ set at OUTLOUD Music Festival during WeHo Pride in Los Angeles, sharing the lineup with artists including The Pussycat Dolls, JADE, Ava Max, Ashlee Simpson, FLO, and Hercules & Love Affair.
