Moby releases ‘When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die’ remix package: Listen
Electronic music pioneer Moby has released a new remix package for his iconic track ‘When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die’, now available via BMG. The collection revisits the 2026 version of the song from his latest album ‘Future Quiet’, which features a powerful vocal performance from Jacob Lusk.
Originally released in 1995 on ‘Everything Is Wrong’, the track has experienced a major resurgence in recent years after appearing in the global hit series ‘Stranger Things’. As a result, it has become Moby’s most streamed song, introducing the emotional classic to an entirely new generation of listeners.
The new remix package expands the track’s sonic universe through a range of reinterpretations. Alongside eight new remixes by Moby himself and an acapella version, the release also includes fresh contributions from respected producers John Tejada, NOHR, and High Beam.
Each remix brings a unique perspective to the track’s haunting atmosphere. John Tejada delivers a refined atmospheric techno interpretation built around crisp percussion and evolving synth melodies, while NOHR transforms the record into a deeply immersive listening experience through ambient textures and understated rhythms. Meanwhile, High Beam injects uplifting energy into the composition with driving rhythms and soaring synth arrangements.
The remix package arrives as Moby prepares for a busy year of live performances. The artist will perform at Coachella in April, followed by his largest European tour in a decade this summer. The run includes 28 dates across Europe, with major shows scheduled in Brighton, London, and Dublin, marking a significant new chapter for one of electronic music’s most influential figures.
