RANE System One is now the first standalone DJ controller to support Serato
The RANE System One now supports Serato DJ Pro. Thanks to it’s omnisource technology, it has become possible to switch seamlessly between the motorized DJ Controller and Serato DJ Pro.
What does Serato support on the Rane System One mean for the DJs?
Serato support gives DJs more freedom to choose their preferred method of playing their tracks. They can now play on the RANE System One directly, while they can also connect to a laptop, using Serato DJ Pro to play. Additionally, DJs can now prepare their sets on Serato and then play it on the System One.
Moreover, DJs can browse Serato crates, sort by BPM or key, swipe tracks to decks, zoom waveforms, manage key sync, and navigate quickly via the SYSTEM ONE touchscreen. Serato DJ Pro waveforms can also be adjusted.
Key Features
- OmniSource: Seamlessly mix Serato DJ Pro, local files, and streaming on both decks at the same time.
- Full touchscreen control of Serato DJ Pro directly from the SYSTEM ONE display.
- Includes access to Serato DJ Pro expansions, including Serato Video.
- Advanced performance tools: Serato Stems, Pitch Play, and Scratch Bank.
- Combo Pad Mode: Trigger two pad modes simultaneously on any Serato-enabled deck.
- Complete internal and software FX with BPM sync for Serato tracks.
Speaking about their collaboration, Jason Stout, Product Manager for DJ Brands at inMusic said, “We worked in close collaboration with Serato to deliver a truly seamless DJ experience when using Serato DJ Pro with the SYSTEM ONE,”. Further, he added, “Switching between Serato DJ Pro and other sources is fast and intuitive, and new touchscreen navigation and library integration features provide a consistent, immersive workflow for DJs mixing across multiple sources.”
The support update is available to download now for Serato 4.0.3, while RANE System One now comes with free Serato DJ Pro.
