Solomun cancels Coachella 2026 appearances due to health recovery
Solomun has announced that he will no longer perform at Coachella 2026, citing the need for recovery following a recent ear operation.
The Bosnian-German DJ and producer shared the update directly with fans, explaining that although the procedure went well, he now needs additional time to fully heal. As a result, he confirmed that he will miss both weekends of the festival, scheduled for April 10–12 and April 17–19 in Indio, California.
“I’m really sorry, but unfortunately I have to cancel my shows at Coachella… I just need a bit more time for it to fully heal,” he wrote, adding that he had been looking forward to the performances.
The news comes at a time when Coachella 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most stacked editions in recent years. Headlined by Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Karol G, and Anyma, the lineup also features a strong electronic presence including Disclosure, Adriatique, Armin van Buuren, and Solomun himself prior to the cancellation.
For Solomun, the timing is unfortunate. In recent years, he has remained one of the most consistent and influential figures in the global house and techno circuit, balancing Ibiza residencies with major festival appearances worldwide.
While no replacement has been announced at the time of writing, his absence leaves a noticeable gap in the electronic offering. Still, the focus now shifts toward recovery – and a return to full strength later in the season.
