Sónar reveals full slate of entertainment and education for 2026 edition

Every year, thousands of fans, artists, and industry insiders descend upon Barcelona for the Sónar+D Festival. With the event set to take place from June 18th through the 20th this year, the full slate of entertainment and education has been revealed.

Setting up at a new venue for 2026, Sónar will transform the 800-year-old Llotja del Mar into an exciting exhibition of art, technology, and culture. Full of interactive content, installations, and industry insight, this year’s event will focus on three themes: AI & Music, Beyond The Screen, and Digital Gardens and Dark Forests. With panels led by marketing strategist Eugene Healey, writer and entrepreneur Yancey Strickler, digital artist niceaunties, and many more, there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the ever-shifting digital and cultural landscape, hearing from voices who are heavily engaged in several avenues of art and media.

Recognizing the growing evolution between performance and technology, Sónar+D will also host several artists who find new ways to blur these lines excitingly. Sound artist Evicshen will explore an engaging noise set while Riusforza and Fitness are coming together for a unique performance piece of their own creation. Under the AI & Music powered by S+T+ARTS umbrella, attendees can witness a performance by pianist Ignasi Terraza dueting with an AI system developed by Philippe Salembier. Sónar will also feature plenty of art installations and exhibitions, showcasing the works of Arts Korea Lab, Volvox Labs’ Astral Twin, From0, and more.

Attendees of the annual Sónar event know that music is one of the driving forces of the festival, and 2026 will once again provide an incredible collection of talent. Among the leading performances will be sets from The Prodigy, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Amelie Lens, and many more. Featuring over 100 different artists, there is something for everyone, and the music serves as an exciting addition to the art installations, discussions, and various other content available throughout the weekend.
