Sónar Week 2026: Taking over Barcelona with an immersive lineup
Gearing up for the most immersive events of the year, Sónar Week 2026 will be taking over the city of Barcelona this June.
Transforming the city of Barcelona into a global hub for electronic music, creativity, and technology, Sónar Week 2026 returns from 18 June to 21 June, with every single aspect set to make this the most memorable week of the year. Featuring over 180 acts across 18 stages, and with more than 170,000 attendees set to enjoy this immersive experience, it only makes sense that each of their events will go down in the books.
Taking centre stage, Sónar Festival will be uniting its Day and Night programmes for the first time, with the event running from 5 p.m. and into the early morning at the iconic Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Delivering the most epic of vibes, the lineup includes The Prodigy, Kelis, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Dom Dolla, Chris Stussy, Modeselektor, Cabaret Voltaire, WhoMadeWho, SBTRKT, Nia Archives, Joy Orbison, KETTAMA, Sammy Virji, and Boys Noize, amongst others.
Continuing with the music programme, OFFSónar will be returning in the most empathic of manners, allowing attendees to truly experience electronic music in the most historic of settings. Taking over the breathtaking open-air space at Poble Espanyol, OFFSónar will unite global labels, collectives, and artists across multiple stages for four days of pure entertainment. Hosting events by some of the biggest names within our community, Rampa and Adam Port of the Keinemusik collective will be delivering those feel-good vibes with their unique musical approach, whilst Adriatique Present X will see the Swiss duo’s immersive production come to life in a manner that is hard to miss. Moreover, Dutch sensation Mau P will also be bringing his Baddest Behaviour concept to life, and if that is not enough, Lone Romantic by Maceo Plex, the UK’s underground brand FUSELondon, Mochakk Calling, and of course the iconic elrow event will be capping off this truly incredible programme of OFFSónar 2026.

Elevating the week as a whole, Sónar 2026 will also include an innovation and technology congress held at Llotja de Mar, under the name of Sónar+D. A reboot in its own right, this year round it will take place in the heart of the city, where everyone present will have the opportunity to truly embrace culture and music in a way that is as unique and exciting as it can be. Taking place on the 18th and 19th of June, this International Congress of Innovation, Creativity and Technology remains one of the most sought-after events of the whole Sónar Week, with its four core pillars falling around Talks, Exhibition, Community, and Performance. Described as “a conference that thinks like a festival,” Sónar+D allows local creative communities to directly connect with international innovators and, in turn, bring all their ideas to complete fruition in a manner that is both respectful and effective.
Extending its reach to the Mediterranean coastline, Sónar District will be taking place over two days at Parc del Fòrum, a new open-air hub that adds to both the musical programme of the week, as well as the festival’s essence as a whole. Hosting three major events, Solid Grooves by Michael Bibi and PAWSA will be delivering that cutting-edge house feeling on the 19th of June, with one day later on the 20th of June, Joseph Capriati’s visionary Metamorfisi concept will be taking over the Auditorio stage, whilst You&Me by Josh Baker will deliver those contemporary house and minimal sounds at the Column stage.

Illustrating their multi-generational approach once again, Sónar Kids will also be returning under the Sónar District category of this event, with this family-oriented programme allowing children and adults alike to experience music and creativity in a safe environment, all in the bid of educating the younger generations with the endless possibilities that can be found within our community and beyond. A remarkable addition by all means, Sónar Week 2026 is gearing up for its most iconic edition to date, and as it prepares to take over the city of Barcelona this coming June, we can’t help but showcase our admiration to everyone involved in the making of this groundbreaking event. A coordinated cultural moment that puts Barcelona in the centre of it all, trust us when we say, this truly is an experience that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
