Swedish House Mafia b2b Eric Prydz at Ultra Miami 2026: our favorite moments

A rare and long-anticipated moment unfolded at Ultra Miami 2026 as Swedish House Mafia joined forces with longtime friend and collaborator Eric Prydz for a special back-to-back performance. While each artist has carved his own lane within electronic music over the past two decades, their shared history and musical overlap made the collaboration feel both natural and significant.

Their Ultra set reflected that shared history, blending classic Swedish House Mafia moments with Prydz’s signature progressive sound. The tracklist highlighted both catalogs while also featuring several mashups that fans have associated with the group’s festival performances for years.

Among the standout moments were the mashup of Fred again.. & Swedish House Mafia ft. Future – ‘Turn On The Lights Again..’ layered with Eric Prydz’s ‘Pjanoo’ and the ‘Leave The World Behind’ acapella, followed later by Swedish House Mafia’s ‘It Gets Better (Stockholm Version)’ alongside Cirez D’s ‘Marquee Las Vegas 2017 ID’.

Further into the set, the artists moved through Sebastian Ingrosso’s ‘Flood’ blended with Eric Prydz’s ‘Every Day’, before continuing with Pryda’s ‘Allein’ and Cirez D vs Green Velvet & Harvard Bass – ‘On Off (Eric Prydz Edit)’ combined with Steve Angello’s ‘Hooligans’.

One of the most talked-about sequences arrived with Eric Prydz’s private remix of ‘Midnight City’, mixed with The Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’ acapella. The closing stretch leaned heavily into Swedish House Mafia staples, including ‘Save The World’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, tying the set back to the trio’s defining festival catalog.

More than two decades after their earliest collaborations, the Ultra appearance served as another reminder of the shared musical roots between Eric Prydz and Swedish House Mafia, and why their occasional reunions remain some of the most anticipated moments in dance music.
