A powerful new chapter in the world of orchestral electronic music has arrived as Symphony of Unity releases its latest reimagined anthem, ‘Years’ by Alesso. The breathtaking orchestral version lands as the project enters the final stretch toward its long-awaited debut album, scheduled for release in early April 2026.

Conceived by the creative minds behind Tomorrowland, Symphony of Unity continues to push the boundaries of modern music by blending the emotional depth of a full symphony orchestra with the energy of iconic electronic dance records. Featuring an ensemble of roughly 50 world-class musicians, the project transforms beloved dance tracks into cinematic compositions that bridge genres, generations and cultures.

Symphony of Unity continues to bridge Dance Music and classical music

The orchestral version of ‘Years’ follows two widely praised releases from the project: the symphonic reinterpretation of Reload’ by Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash and John Martin, as well as the orchestral take on the legendary Faithless classic ‘Insomnia.

For Alesso, the new interpretation represents a deeply personal milestone. “Years is such a special track for me,” the Swedish producer shared. “When I learned that Tomorrowland’s Symphony of Unity wanted to bring it to life with a symphonic version, it was an immediate yes. More than a decade after its release, hearing it take on a completely new form is incredibly exciting.”

Meanwhile, Symphony of Unity conductor Kevin Houben highlighted the emotional orchestration that defines the new version. According to Houben, the arrangement builds through expressive cellos, horns and soaring strings before introducing the track’s iconic piano melody in a grand, cinematic moment.

Since debuting in 2015, Symphony of Unity has grown into one of Tomorrowland’s most celebrated musical concepts. The project delivered record-breaking performances on the Freedom Stage at Tomorrowland in 2024 and 2025, while also selling out its first ticketed concerts at Antwerp Expo in late 2025.

With performances across Belgium, Amsterdam, Dubai, Las Vegas and Brazil, and a debut album arriving soon, Symphony of Unity continues to expand its global impact, proving that electronic anthems can evolve into timeless orchestral experiences.
