UJAM DEEP Virtual Drummer Drops to $19 in Limited-Time 84% Discount

Music software company UJAM has launched a major sale on its soulful drum instrument DEEP, cutting the price from $119 to $19. The 84% discount runs until May 3, making it one of the most affordable drum plugins currently available for producers.

UJAM Virtual Drummer DEEP focuses on soul, funk, and groove-driven styles inspired by the 1960s and 1970s. The plugin recreates the rhythmic feel of classic recordings that defined the era. Artists like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, and Marvin Gaye helped popularize these styles, where tight rhythm sections and expressive drum performances shaped the sound of modern music.

The instrument ships with 30 playing styles and 690 drum patterns, allowing producers to build realistic grooves quickly. Users can drag and drop MIDI phrases directly into their DAW for detailed editing and arrangement.

DEEP includes five drum kits and six mix presets, designed to cover everything from smooth soul grooves to energetic funk rhythms. The plugin also features 70 sound designer presets for quick sound shaping.

One of the key controls is the Grit knob. This retro-style parameter adds dirt and energy to the drum sound, allowing producers to move from clean vintage tones to more aggressive textures.

UJAM also focused on realism in the recording process. Each instrument includes up to 60 velocity layers, combined with a round-robin playback system to prevent repetitive patterns. The drums were recorded using both vintage and modern microphones, with separate overhead and room channels available for more detailed mixing.

DEEP can also integrate with UJAM’s Virtual Bassist series, especially DANDY, allowing users to match bass and drum patterns quickly.
