UJAM Virtual Drummer PHAT 2 Drops to $29 in 75% Limited-Time Sale

Music software developer UJAM has introduced a major discount on its groove-focused drum plugin PHAT 2. The instrument is currently available for $29, reduced from its regular $119 price, with the 75% discount running until May 3.

UJAM Virtual Drummer PHAT 2 is designed for hip-hop, funk, soul, and urban music production. The plugin focuses on delivering groove-heavy drum performances that can quickly form the rhythmic backbone of modern tracks.

PHAT 2 provides producers with 200 presets and 60 musical styles, offering 1,380 drum patterns that cover a wide range of groove-driven genres. The plugin also includes five drum kits and six character presets, allowing users to move from smooth vintage-inspired rhythms to punchy modern beats.

Version 2 introduced several workflow improvements aimed at modern producers. These include drag-and-drop MIDI phrases, multiple audio outputs, and an enhanced mixer section for deeper control inside a DAW. The update also added 30 new styles and 150 presets to expand the plugin’s sound library.

Like other instruments in the UJAM Virtual Drummer series, PHAT 2 focuses on simplicity and fast results. Producers can adjust the performance feel using controls for swing, timing, and humanization, helping the grooves feel more natural and expressive.

Users can also fine-tune the drum mix by adjusting the levels of individual elements such as kick, snare, and percussion, along with overhead and room microphones.

PHAT 2 is designed to work well across a wide range of styles, from retro soul and funk grooves to modern hip-hop and G-funk productions. The plugin aims to give producers realistic drum performances without complex programming.
