Looking back at one of the most historic moments within the dance industry, Fred again.. and Thomas Bangalter’s B2B performance this past Friday (27/02) was full of surprises from start to finish, and in turn, we have handpicked our favourite parts of this once-in-a-lifetime experience that we had the privilege of experiencing live.
A groundbreaking set that fused the past and present in the most immersive of ways, this truly was a spectacle that had us all in awe every single step of the way. Featuring one scintillating mashup after another, attendees were left wondering what would come next, and as expected, the end product was one of pure greatness. From Daft Punk’s iconic ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ intertwining with Fred again..’s ‘Delilah,’ and once again with ‘Aerodynamic’ and ‘Victory Lap 5,’ this was one of those surreal moments that remain engraved in anyone’s minds for eternity.
Moreover, ‘One More Time’ was always going to cause the absolute frenzy, with Alexandra Palace rocking to its absolute core once this timeless masterpiece was dropped in the most astonishing of manners. Another one for the list, Bangalter’s curveball of playing Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris’s anthem ‘Yeah,’ had us all in a complete meltdown, further illustrating the endless possibilities within our community.
