Alesso has opened his 2026 tour at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with Dutch heavyweight Martin Garrix joining him on stage during the set. Notably, the Colorado date served as the launch of the producer’s most ambitious production setup to date.

“I’ve been doing this a long time and to be able to still play these shows at incredible venues like Red Rocks and see all of you show up doesn’t go unnoticed,” Alesso wrote on Instagram. Meanwhile, he confirmed the new visual production has been months in the making. “My team and I have been working so hard on this new production and to see it come to life is so special.”

Crucially, Martin Garrix’s appearance turned the night into a Swedish-Dutch duet moment. The two have collaborated frequently across the years, with their joint cuts and b2b appearances becoming a recurring crossover thread. In turn, the Red Rocks crowd witnessed one of the more talked-about guest moments of the early-summer touring window.

The tracklist confirms a strong opening night. Furthermore, Alesso pulled together festival anthems, throwbacks and his own catalogue across the run. The set delivered both production milestones and the kind of moments long-time fans expected.

Equally, Alesso closed his post with a forward-looking line. “First stop of tour down. SF you’re next.” San Francisco picks up the run after the Red Rocks opener.

Still, the choice to launch at Red Rocks reads as a statement. The Colorado venue has become a rite-of-passage moment for top-tier electronic acts, with deadmau5, ZHU and others recently joining the long list of producers who have headlined the natural amphitheatre.

The fan response in the comments matched the energy on stage. Moreover, fellow producers Dannic and others publicly co-signed the launch.

Alesso’s 2026 schedule continues across North American and European dates through the summer. In short, the new production now travels with him.

Finally, the Red Rocks set closed one of the year’s most anticipated tour openers. The full tracklist is live on the usual set tracking platforms for fans wanting to dig in cut by cut.
