Anyma cancels Coachella ‘ÆDEN’ debut due to strong winds
One of the most anticipated electronic performances of Coachella 2026 came to an abrupt halt after strong wind conditions forced the cancellation of Anyma scheduled show.
The Italian producer had been set to debut ‘ÆDEN’, his brand-new immersive audiovisual concept, during the festival’s opening night. However, shortly before the performance was due to begin, organizers confirmed that the set could not proceed due to weather conditions affecting the stage production.
In a message displayed at the festival, attendees were informed of the decision: due to strong wind conditions impacting the stage build, the performance could not safely take place. The decision was made jointly by Coachella and Anyma, with safety cited as the primary concern.
The cancellation was particularly disappointing given the scale of the show being prepared. ‘ÆDEN’ represents the next chapter of Anyma’s live concept performances, combining music, storytelling and large-scale visual production. The show had reportedly been in development for nearly a year ahead of its planned debut at the festival.
Following the announcement, Anyma addressed fans directly on social media, sharing his frustration about the situation.
“I’m sorry everyone. We’ve done everything in our control to build the show I’ve worked an entire year on. Safety always comes first and we’re working on a solution now.”
Despite the setback, Coachella 2026 continues across the weekend in Indio, California, with major performances still scheduled across the festival’s multiple stages. It remains unclear whether the debut of ‘ÆDEN’ will take place during the festival’s second weekend or at a future event.
