Anyma joins Marlon Hoffstadt for surprise Coachella B2B after weather cancellation
Anyma turned a devastating weekend into a Coachella highlight on Sunday night. His Friday headline set had fallen through due to high winds hitting 45 mph. In response, the Italian producer joined Marlon Hoffstadt at the festival’s Do Lab stage for a surprise back-to-back set. The cancellation also forced organisers to postpone the world premiere of his new ÆDEN show to weekend 2.
The Do Lab B2B kicked off at 10:45 PM PT. It immediately lit up the festival’s biggest social moment of the weekend. Crucially, LISA of BLACKPINK joined the pair on stage during ‘Bad Angel’, her newly released collaboration with Anyma. The track’s live debut arrived in front of a packed crowd. As a result, the already-viral set rocketed into global trending territory. Tens of thousands tuned in through festival livestreams and fan-captured clips within hours of the closing drop.
Anyma acknowledged the turnaround on Instagram with a carousel of set visuals captioned “Worlds collide”. He tagged both Hoffstadt and Lisa. Meanwhile, Hoffstadt called it “the craziest 24h of my life” in the post’s comments. The reaction across the dance community was instant. Armin van Buuren, Cassian and Morten all celebrated the moment in real time.
The surprise B2B also reframed what weekend 1 could have felt like for Anyma’s fans. Notably, his full ÆDEN premiere will still land on the main stage during weekend 2 on April 17. Returning attendees will now witness the original set he had planned. For now, the Do Lab B2B stands as one of Coachella 2026’s defining unscripted moments.
