Arguably one of the most iconic B2Bs to ever take place, Fred again.. and Thomas Bangalter have now released their set from Alexandra Palace in London as a DJ mix for worldwide streaming on Apple Music. The mix takes listeners back to 27 February, the final night of Fred again..’s ‘USB002’ tour, delivering a set that every dance music enthusiast - and beyond - should experience at least once in their lifetime.
A rare occasion by all means, this performance marked only the second DJ set that Bangalter has released outside of Daft Punk, and as you can expect, pure greatness unfolds throughout its entirety. From Fred again..’s remarkable energy, to Bangalter’s legendary aura, and everything in between, this truly was a moment for the history books, and much to our delight, it is now available for everyone to stream and enjoy.
“I usually have a rule that I don’t watch anything back. I just do the thing and then try to stay present and just sorta keep working on writing music. But, yeah, with this, I justtttt. Can’t. Stop. Probably because a lot of it isn’t my music, so it’s not subject to my usual very critical inner voice about stuff. Instead, I’m just a fan more proud of a sort of human moment than anything else.” – Fred again.. (Online Set Reaction)
The ultimate occasion, now available for everyone to experience in its entirety, you can check out the full tracklist from this legendary B2B set here, and as previously mentioned, you can download the full stream via Apple Music here. Groundbreaking in every sense of the word, don’t forget to leave your own thoughts in the comments section. Enjoy!
