Charlotte de Witte shuts down the streets of Genova for massive rave

In recent years, as Charlotte de Witte has catapulted to the forefront of the modern techno landscape, she has found new ways to deliver her music and KNTXT brand to fans worldwide. After making history as the first female to close out Tomorrowland’s Mainstage a few years ago, she has taken over the streets of several cities, including New York, to bring exciting experiences to her loyal fans. This weekend, she took to the streets of Genova, setting up in the Piazza Matteotti with support from the city and Mayor Silvia Salis.
Videos of the event show 20,000 people gathered to experience the excitement and energy that comes from a Charlotte de Witte performance. The popular square filled up for the hour long set and the buy in from city officials made the event all the more exciting as it shows the positive impact music and art can have on a community. For de Witte, these types of shows have been a strong part of her DNA, as she looks to connect with fans in new ways year after year.
