DJ Snake ‘Let Me Love You’ with Justin Bieber crosses 3 billion Spotify streams
DJ Snake hit single ‘Let Me Love You‘ featuring Justin Bieber has crossed 3 billion Spotify streams, ten years on from its 2016 release. Notably, the French producer shared the milestone on Instagram, framing it as the highest compliment an artist can receive.
“10 years later and ‘Let Me Love You’ just hit 3 billion streams on Spotify,” DJ Snake wrote. Meanwhile, he reflected on what the longevity meant. “That’s honestly the greatest compliment as an artist, knowing a song can live on and become timeless.”
The track first arrived in August 2016 as the lead single from DJ Snake’s debut album ‘Encore’. Crucially, the cut helped cement his transition from underground producer to global pop crossover artist. Furthermore, the collaboration sat alongside Justin Bieber’s own pop dominance at the time.
“Thank you to every single one of you who kept playing it, singing it, and making it part of your lives,” DJ Snake added. “Endless blessings.” In turn, he closed with a direct shout-out to Justin Bieber. “Shoutout my brother Justin Bieber for making this one legendary.”
3 billion streams puts the track in rare company. Equally, only a small group of dance-leaning records have crossed the threshold. The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’, Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ and a handful of other modern pop crossovers sit in that band on Spotify’s all-time list.
Still, DJ Snake’s wider catalogue continues to drive the same kind of long-tail engagement. ‘Lean On’ with Major Lazer and MØ remains one of the most streamed dance tracks ever. Moreover, ‘Taki Taki’ with Ozuna, Cardi B and Selena Gomez has built equally durable numbers.
The ‘Let Me Love You’ milestone arrives during a strong stretch for DJ Snake. He recently teamed up with Armin van Buuren and ARGY on adjacent crossover work and continues to tour at the top of the festival circuit globally.
Finally, the timing reinforces a wider Spotify pattern. Dance music’s biggest crossover moments keep gaining streams long after their release windows. In short, 3 billion is no longer the ceiling.
