Fred again.. drops 108-hour ‘USB002 EVERY SHOW’ mix from full tour run: Listen
Fred again.. has released ‘USB002 EVERY SHOW 108 HOURS‘, a continuous 108-hour mix recorded across the entire USB002 tour. Notably, the project documents 21 shows. It pulls together every track played alongside the long list of collaborators who joined him on stage.
The artwork comes from designer Elijah. Meanwhile, the video imagery includes the full roster of artists who appeared with Fred across the run. The credits also list everyone who contributed to the 29 tracks released over the course of USB002. In turn, the credits list reads as one of the most ambitious b2b tour documents in recent memory.
“I really just wanted to document the insane experience of getting to play b2b wit this amazing list of ppl,” Fred again.. wrote alongside the release. Crucially, he extended a direct thank you to fans. “A truly insane list of humans. To everyone who came to every show, I increasingly learn that you make them what they are more than we do.”
The collaborator list runs deep. Furthermore, names include HAAi, Floating Points, Caribou and Four Tet. Skin On Skin, Sammy Virji, Skream and Benga also feature. Romy, Denzel Curry, Ben UFO, Nia Archives and Jamie T add more weight. Equally, Ezra Collective, Underworld, La Roux, Skepta, Thomas Bangalter, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, JPEGMAFIA, Danny Brown, Headie One, JME and The Streets all sit on the credits.
The 108-hour format itself stands out. Equally, Fred again.. has built USB002 as much through its live moments as its studio output. The mix turns the entire tour into a single continuous piece of audio history.
Still, the rollout did not stop with the mix. To coincide with the end of USB002, Fred released ‘USB002 REMIXES’, featuring seven reworked versions of tracks from the era. Moreover, the album extends the era’s catalogue with fresh perspectives.
Finally, the Fred again.. USB002 cycle has now closed. The mix and remix album are both live across streaming platforms.
