John Summit announces Red Rocks takeover ahead of upcoming album ‘CTRL ESCAPE’

John Summit continues building momentum for his upcoming album ‘CTRL ESCAPE’, set for release on April 15, with a special open-to-close performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

On April 8, the Chicago-born producer will take over the legendary venue for a three-hour solo set from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., delivering a journey through his evolving sound and previewing material from the upcoming record. Known as one of electronic music’s most iconic stages, Red Rocks has hosted some of dance music’s most memorable performances, making the event another milestone moment in Summit’s rapidly growing career.

Meanwhile, ‘CTRL ESCAPE’ represents one of Summit’s most ambitious projects to date. The album blends multiple genres across electronic music, moving from tech house and festival-driven energy into elements of dubstep, drum & bass, and more experimental territory. Taken as a whole, the project reflects Summit’s current lifestyle, balancing relentless global touring with intimate shows designed to maintain a close connection with fans.

Last week, Summit released ‘CHICA 305’ alongside Latin superstar Feid, a playful and flirtatious club record capturing the electric moment of locking eyes with someone across a packed dancefloor.

The rollout for the album has already included a series of pop-up events across the United States, including appearances at Reframe Studios in Los Angeles and HALO in New York, where Summit partnered with Spotify and LinkedIn for special fan activations.

Meanwhile, John Summit also delivered one of the standout moments during Ultra Music Festival 2026, while his Experts Only event at Space Miami further cemented his reputation as one of dance music’s most in-demand artists today.
