John Summit delivers exciting set at exclusive Spotify event

With John Summit preparing to deliver his highly anticipated sophomore album this month, he joined forces with Spotify and LinkedIn for a special event. As the release approaches, he recently delivered an intimate set for fans in New York City.

Every year, April 1st delivers a day of subtle mischief and mayhem as the annual tradition of April Fools’ Day takes hold. For a select group of John Summit fans, the day was an incredible opportunity to witness the superstar producer deliver an intimate set. Presented by Spotify with a large tie-in from LinkedIn, the team leaned into Summit’s past experience as a CPA, showcasing his ‘professional side’ in a series of promo photos for the platform. Taking the stage in his professional garb, he performed at a private venue in New York City for a lucky collection of fans.

The performance comes just days after he delivered a high-energy closing set at this year’s Ultra Music Festival and just two weeks before his sophomore album, CTRL ESCAPE, is released. During the intimate set, he delivered tracks from his upcoming album and brought out collaborator Julia Wolf for their track, WITH ME. Those fortunate to witness the unique set were amongst Summit’s top Spotify fans and got a chance to hear new cuts, including his recent single, CHICO 305 with Feid. As the April 15th album release draws nearer, moments like this crystallize the excitement for the new John Summit project.
