Madonna debuts new ‘Confessions II’ tracks at surprise Abbey LA set: Watch
Madonna debuted two new tracks from her forthcoming album during a surprise set at LA nightclub The Abbey. Notably, the Queen of Pop took to the DJ booth alongside long-time collaborator Stuart Price at around 1 AM, treating the West Hollywood crowd to unreleased material from ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II‘.
The set rolled out two previously unheard cuts. Meanwhile, Madonna premiered new tracks ‘Love Sensation’ and ‘Freedom’ alongside a play of recent single ‘I Feel So Free’. In turn, the appearance gave fans the first live taste of the album’s club-leaning direction.
The performance happened during an invite-only ‘Club Confessions’ party. Crucially, the night doubled as a birthday celebration for Tristan Schukraft, owner of the West Hollywood venue. Furthermore, the guest list included Romy from The xx, Addison Rae, Cara Delevingne, Julia Fox, Lily Allen, Sky Ferreira and Tom Daley among others.
Madonna wore a powder-pink bustier for the set. Equally, she encouraged the crowd to put their phones down during the performance, channelling the wider phone-free moment shaping current club culture.
‘Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II’ is due out July 3. Still, the album marks Madonna’s 15th studio LP and her first full-length since ‘Madame X’ in 2019. The new record functions as a sequel to her 2005 dancefloor classic.
Stuart Price’s involvement adds further continuity. Moreover, he produced the original ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’ two decades ago, and his return for Part II frames the new record inside the same creative DNA.
The Abbey set sits inside a busier-than-usual Madonna stretch. Madonna also performed at Coachella in 2026 in a separate moment. In short, the Confessions II rollout has moved into peak teaser mode.
Finally, the Madonna and Stuart Price reunion continues into the album’s release window. The full record arrives July 3.
