Rob Laniado has returned with his new melodic techno cut ‘Falling Under’ on ROMÉ Records. The track builds around a hypnotic vocal hook and a deep, driving drop. Notably, it arrives as the imprint’s fifth release and extends Laniado’s recent run of emotive club-ready productions. The record also signals a continued push toward peak-time energy with a cinematic twist at its heart.

‘Falling Under’ moves between atmospheric breakdowns and a punchy groove made for modern dancefloors. Crucially, the record balances peak-time club energy with cinematic tension. In turn, the result fits late-night DJ sets and melodic streaming playlists equally well. The vocal threads through the full arrangement. Meanwhile, it pulls listeners deeper with each bar.

“‘Falling Under’ started from the vocal idea,” said Rob Laniado. “The moment I heard it, I knew the track needed to build tension around that hypnotic feeling of being pulled deeper into the music. I wanted something emotional but still powerful enough to work at peak-time in the club.” Indeed, the approach shows in the record’s final structure.

The release extends ROMÉ Records’ evolving direction. Still, ‘Falling Under’ doubles as a statement about Laniado’s producer identity. The Israeli DJ and producer founded ROMÉ Records to carve out his own lane in melodic techno. The track follows his recent collaboration ‘Worlds Apart’ with SNRS. Additionally, he has spent recent months refining the label’s signature balance of melodic storytelling and dancefloor impact. For now, ‘Falling Under’ is out now across all major streaming platforms and stores.
