High above the French Alps, Steve Angello delivered a powerful and emotional performance at Tomorrowland Winter 2026, guiding fans through a set packed with Swedish House Mafia classics, iconic mashups, and timeless festival anthems.

Held between March 21 and 28 in Alpe d’Huez, Tomorrowland Winter once again transformed the ski resort into a global meeting point for electronic music fans. More than 22,000 People of Tomorrow explored stages across the slopes, moving between mountain sessions, après-ski celebrations, and late-night performances from some of dance music’s biggest names.

Against that breathtaking alpine backdrop, Angello’s set leaned heavily into nostalgia, celebrating the legacy of Swedish House Mafia while blending it with modern edits and mashups.

Swedish House Mafia classics dominate the set

Opening with ‘Tear The Club Up (Intro Edit)’ by Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso, the set immediately set the tone before moving into a complex Swedish House Mafia mashup combining ‘Offshore’, ‘Greyhound’, ‘Fine Day’, and ‘Touch Me’. Throughout the performance, Angello revisited defining records from the group’s catalog, including ‘Miami 2 Ibiza (Paradise Again Edit)’, ‘Lioness’, ‘Wait So Long (Why Do I Have To)’, and ‘Ray Of Solar’.

Several mashups paid tribute to the golden era of progressive house. Highlights included ‘One (Your Name) vs. Sweet Dreams’, as well as a multi-layered moment combining ‘Love Inc’, ‘In My Mind’, ‘Show Me Love’, and ‘Knas’. Elsewhere, Angello blended classics like ‘Where’s Your Head At?’, Eric Prydz’s ‘Pjanoo (LAWZ Remix)’, and ‘On Off’ by Cirez D (Kapuchon Edit) into the set.

Avicii tribute creates emotional moment

One of the most memorable moments arrived when Angello played Avicii’s ‘Levels’, paying tribute to the late Swedish producer whose influence remains deeply rooted in the global dance scene. From there, the set transitioned into an emotional closing stretch featuring ‘Save The World’, ‘Heaven Takes You Home’, and the timeless ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, before ending with a euphoric mashup of ‘Innerbloom’ and ‘Payback’.

Throughout the performance, Steve Angello reminded fans why the Swedish House Mafia sound continues to define festival main stages around the world. Against the snow-covered mountains of Tomorrowland Winter, the set felt both nostalgic and celebratory – a reminder of the era that shaped modern dance music.
