While not on the lineup for this year’s event, deadmau5 still found himself garnering headlines during Ultra Music Festival in Miami. With SVDDEN DEATH delivering a dubstep-heavy main stage performance, the Canadian artist shared his thoughts on the day.

Delivering a powerful main stage performance in full armor, SVDDEN DEATH commanded the Miami audience with his brand of bass-heavy dubstep. During the set, deadmau5 delivered one of his iconic social media commentaries, stating, ‘What a terrible day to have ears.’ This caught the attention of fans and artists everywhere, causing the internet to rile itself up over the comments. Understanding who deadmau5 is, and how he communicates, SVDDEN DEATH shared his own reply, ‘The artist that inspired my whole career hating my project is truly the most 720 moment of my life (i still love him.’

In his own post, deadmau5 stated, ‘All this drama over a 6 word comment makes me wonder if the dubstep communites idea of the BEST SHOW ever is just standing in front of an LRAD riot control unit.
