Home Tech u-he Previews Zebra 3 Final Beta With UI and Feature Updates

u-he has released the Zebra 3 final beta, introducing a redesigned user interface and a range of workflow improvements ahead of the synth’s full release. The new UI features a more decluttered layout where the elements disappear when not in use. Parameters and controls like Tune and Volume will now always be in fixed positions. The new colour-coded modulation, enhanced contrast and larger text together make a more solid visual design.

Zebra 3 Release Timeline and Presets

According to the developers, the final version of Zebra 3 could launch as soon as next week if no major issues arise. The synth now includes over 1200 factory presets, all of which have been refined for the final release. This beta version is also the last to support the temporary beta license card, which will expire in July.

Performance and Workflow Improvements

Apart from the UI, the update also includes:

  1. Improved performance and voice management
  2. New oscillator phase parameter controls
  3. Drag-and-drop functionality for curve morphing
  4. Additional module presets and init patches

Several bugs and minor issues have also been addressed.

Zebra 3 is currently available at an introductory price of €179 during the beta phase. Existing Zebra 2 users can upgrade at a discounted rate, while eligible users may receive a free upgrade.
