Japan’s festival scene is getting a major new addition this summer as 81 MUSIC FESTIVAL officially unveils the lineup for its first-ever edition, taking place June 27, 2026, at TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO in Odaiba.

Built around the concept of connecting Japan with the global music scene, 81 MUSIC FESTIVAL brings together a genre-spanning mix of electronic, pop, and hip-hop artists, led by names including The Kid LAROI, R3HAB, MRAK, John Martin, Vini Vici B2B MR.BLACK, Night Tempo, Alan Shirahama, 3LI¥EN, and MARVY.

For dance music fans, the debut edition immediately delivers several standout moments. Dutch-Moroccan hitmaker R3HAB is set to present a special world premiere showcase, while MRAK will make his long-awaited Japan debut performance. Best known as one half of Tale Of Us, MRAK has carved out his own cinematic solo identity through emotionally driven melodic techno and immersive visual storytelling, making his appearance one of the festival’s most anticipated sets.

R3HAB, on the other hand, brings pure festival energy. Known for his high-impact productions and globally recognized remixes, his performances thrive in large-scale environments built around massive drops, singalong hooks, and nonstop momentum. Adding another emotional layer to the lineup is John Martin, the legendary voice behind some of electronic music’s most iconic records. His live performances continue to deliver the kind of euphoric festival moments that unite entire crowds in song. Elsewhere, Vini Vici B2B MR.BLACK is expected to push the intensity to another level with a high-octane psytrance set designed for peak-time chaos. The pairing combines two of the genre’s most recognizable names, bringing relentless energy and heavy drops tailored for arena-sized production.

The festival also leans into crossover sounds beyond the electronic space. The Kid LAROI headlines the event with his globally dominant mix of melodic rap and emotional pop songwriting, while Night Tempo adds a distinctly Japanese touch through his modern reinterpretation of classic city pop and retro disco influences. Alan Shirahama continues to establish himself as one of Japan’s most internationally visible electronic artists. Alongside his career with EXILE and GENERATIONS, Alan has steadily expanded his presence within dance music through club-focused releases, international collaborations, and major festival appearances.

More than just another live event, 81 MUSIC FESTIVAL is positioning itself as a cultural bridge. The name “81” references Japan’s international dialing code, symbolizing a connection between Japan and the rest of the world through music, art, and shared live experiences. The event will take place inside TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, a newly developed venue located in Odaiba with direct access from central Tokyo and Haneda Airport. Organizers are aiming to create a large-scale immersive production experience that blends international festival standards with Japanese cultural identity.

81 MUSIC FESTIVAL runs from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Tickets are currently on sale through the festival’s official website here and will remain available until sold out.
