Charlotte de Witte just made history at EDC Las Vegas 2026. The Belgian techno queen closed the festival’s 30th anniversary edition. Plus, she became the first techno DJ and the first female DJ ever to take the closing slot in EDC Las Vegas history. The full set just landed on YouTube.

The closing performance marks a major American moment. Her impact on the US scene has been building for years. Now, with the EDC closing slot in the books, the milestone confirms her position at the front of the global techno conversation.

The set ran for over 70 minutes of carefully sequenced techno. She opened with ‘The Resistance’ (Intro Edit) alongside Theo Nasa, layered over a custom Acid Code edit of Enrico Sangiuliano’s ‘The Techno Code’. The KNTXT run followed, with cuts from her recent catalogue. Then the set built into a mainstage-techno middle stretch with Hi-Gate, Avalon & GMS, and her own ‘Overdrive’. The Vini Vici remix of Hilight Tribe’s ‘Free Tibet’ connected the closing to the wider EDC psy-trance heritage. Anna Reusch, Flour, Lilly Palmer x Gregor Tresher and a Bountyhunter ‘Woops’ bomb followed. Charlotte de Witte closed with GALLØ’s ‘Kiss My Body’.

Beyond the EDC moment, the American footprint continues to expand. She has announced a back-to-back set with Yousuke Yukimatsu at Under The K Bridge Park in New York, which sold out within hours. Her show at NY’s Knockdown Center also sold out during pre-sale. Plus, she will play HARD Festival in Los Angeles and Elements Festival later this summer.
