Cracky drops cinematic Sicily bass music set on volcanic rock island: Watch

Cracky has just shared a cinematic bass music DJ set filmed on a volcanic rock island off Sicily. The 25-year-old Polish DJ and producer rented a private boat to reach the location two weeks ago. He recorded the full set at sunrise, surrounded by the sea.

The project was filmed using drones, a 360-degree camera and static cameras. Plus, additional scenes shot across multiple locations around Sicily fill out the visual story. The crew travelled hundreds of kilometres across the island, from sunrise to sunset, to capture the full cinematic experience.

“My name is Cracky and I wanted to share something truly special with you before its official release,” he explained ahead of the set. “Two weeks ago, I rented a private boat in Sicily, Italy and at sunrise recorded a full cinematic bass music DJ set on top of a volcanic rock island surrounded by the sea.”

The 29-track set covers the Cracky signature blend. It runs across Trap, Dubstep, Bass House and Baile Funk, with six original productions woven in. Four of those originals are still unreleased, including an upcoming collaboration with RUNN. Plus, the tracklist pulls in cuts from Skrillex (with Hamdi, TAICHU and OFFAIAH), ISOxo, KSHMR & MEMBA, Dylan Brady, Fred again.., John Summit (in a Major Lazer remix), BLACKPINK (4URA remix), Yellow Claw and DJ Snake.

“This is not a typical club mix,” Cracky added. “It’s more of a music film, a cinematic experience inspired by unique location sets and projects similar to artists like Diplo.”

For Cracky, the project sits as the most ambitious snapshot of his sound so far. The Polish artist has been building a reputation for bass-driven energy, with influences pulled from Skrillex, Fred again.., Diplo and Yellow Claw. Now, the Sicily film positions him as a producer interested in scale and storytelling as much as drops.
