EDC 2026 prepares for massive 30th anniversary event
As fans anxiously await their return to Las Vegas for EDC 2026, organizers have worked hard to prepare another unforgettable experience for all. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the storied event, and all attendees are sure to witness magic under the electric skies.
When the gates open on May 15th in Las Vegas, fans attending EDC will be brought into a pumping new world of light, sound, and music. This latest edition celebrates an incredible milestone: the historic event is now in its 30th year and will lean into the theme of #kineticJOURNEY for its design. For such a momentous milestone, organizers will bring together some of the biggest names in the industry while designing an experience worthy of both the EDC moniker and its home city of Las Vegas.
Lineup
Globally renowned as one of the largest and most influential dance music gatherings, alongside Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, EDC has managed to carve out its own niche when booking talent. For this year’s 30th anniversary, organizers have once again pulled together a wide variety of talent across all genres and spanning generations. New and rising stars such as Hamdi, MPH, and John Summit are sharing space alongside longtime legends such as The Prodigy, Underworld, and Paul Oakenfold. Keeping in line with this year’s theme, it presents a true musical journey, showcasing the evolution and continued growth of dance music worldwide.
No major festival is complete without a strong collection of Mainstage artists, and plenty will be making the journey to Nevada for this special rendition of EDC. Returning to the electric skies will be Zedd, who last performed in 2024, igniting the landscape with his catalog of hits and utilizing an incredible drone show to officially reveal his third full-length album. Above & Beyond will also be taking to the stage with a slotted Sunrise Set for Saturday. The iconic trio has always been able to flex their creative muscles to evolve and adapt their many heartfelt anthems to any setting.
For those looking for big sets from some of the best DJs, the event has plenty to offer. Hardwell is always a must-see, and he brings his best work to a festival setting. A few months removed from the release of her incredible fourth album, GHOST WORLD, Alison Wonderland will surely take fans on an unpredictable musical journey. Fans can also keep an on her eye on her as Kaskade will also be at EDC, and the two have shared several sets and spent time in the studio in recent years. What better place to share some new collaborations than during this year’s #kineticJOURNEY.
Camp EDC
A long festival weekend does require a fair amount of rest and time away from the excitement for attendees. Looking to ensure a good time is had by all, EDC has upgraded its camping offerings for 2026. The Moon Glow camping section will provide pre-set ShiftPod tents on artificial grass for a more comfortable experience. There will also be additional showers and bathrooms, and a strong power grid, ensuring campers have a positive experience throughout all of the weekend activities.
Under the electric skies
All the anticipation and build-up can’t compare to the experience of walking into EDC and the rush of the music, buzzing fans, and incredible production that defines the stages and all areas of the event.
