The actress turned up at John Summit’s set during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix weekend, joining a wider list of celebrities at the event including Ciara. The clip of her arrival, and Summit’s clearly genuine surprise on meeting her, has been shared across socials over the past 24 hours.
It turns out Alba is a John Summit fan in her own right. The Chicago house producer has spent the last two years building a profile that crosses well outside dance music’s traditional core audience, and that crossover continues to land him in front of celebrities who are showing up because they actually like the music.
John Summit’s Race Week appearance is part of a packed Miami run that also includes a LIV Miami set built into the Grand Prix party calendar. The weekend draws one of the biggest concentrations of celebrity turnout in the US sporting calendar outside the Super Bowl.
