Splice Partners With ElevenLabs on New AI Music Creation Tools
Splice has announced a partnership with ElevenLabs to develop a new set of AI-powered creative tools aimed at music producers and creators. The companies say the “next-generation AI-powered creative tools” will launch later this year, though specific product details have not yet been revealed.
What Is the Partnership About?
The collaboration brings together Splice’s music production ecosystem and ElevenLabs’ AI audio technology. ElevenLabs is known for its work in realistic text-to-speech, voice cloning and AI audio generation, while Splice has one of the largest royalty-free sample libraries in music production. According to the announcement, the tools will focus on integrating AI directly into music-making workflows rather than operating as standalone systems. “Our models deliver studio-grade audio ready for commercial use,” said Mati Staniszewski. “By embedding them into Splice’s workflow, we’ll bring these capabilities directly to the artists and creators shaping the future of music.”
Splice continues its push towards AI
The partnership is part of Splice’s expansion into AI-assisted music tools. Last month, the company introduced several generative AI features focused on sample creation and discovery, while also emphasising on compensation systems for original sample creators. In December, Splice also partnered with Universal Music Group to develop commercial AI tools for creators.
Earlier this year, the company acquired AI voice production platform Kits AI. “In this second wave of AI in music, the creator comes first,” said Kakul Srivastava. “We’re building responsible products from the ground up.”
