Tiësto returns to The Warehouse Project for first Manchester show in 13 years
Tiësto has been announced as a headline name for The Warehouse Project’s 20th anniversary season. The Dutch superstar will play Manchester for the first time in 13 years on Friday, December 11. He joins Overmono and Solomun as the three major new shows revealed for WHP’s milestone year.
The Warehouse Project celebrates 20 years in 2026. The Manchester club series launches its 2026 season on Friday, September 18, marking two decades since its groundbreaking debut at Boddington’s Strangeways Brewery in 2006. WHP has spent the years since transforming industrial spaces into globally recognised destinations for electronic music and club culture.
For Tiësto, the December 11 booking is a major UK moment. He has spent three decades shaping dance music culture on a global scale, from pioneering the modern Las Vegas residency to becoming the first DJ to perform at the Olympic Games. Plus, his catalogue includes more than 40 million albums sold and over 30 billion global streams.
The set arrives fresh from a recent run of major international performances, including a headline at EDC Las Vegas 2026. Tiësto has also been signalling a return to the melodic and deep house sounds that first defined his career, with a new trance album recently confirmed during an interview at EDC.
Beyond the Tiësto announcement, two other major bookings round out the 20th anniversary news.
Overmono headline an all-night takeover at Depot Mayfield on Friday, October 30. The duo will host a multi-room programme featuring a special James Blake b2b Joy Orbison set, alongside Moodymann, Blawan, Helena Hauff b2b DJ Bone, Aurora Halal and a special guest set from Andy C. Blackhaine, Space Afrika, Rainy Miller, Wraith9 and KAVARI also feature on what stands as one of the season’s most forward-thinking line-ups.
Solomun returns to Manchester for his first headline show in the city in five years on Friday, September 25. The Diynamic boss will deliver his only remaining headline UK show of 2026, following the rapid sell-out of two London dates earlier this year.
The Warehouse Project recently picked up Major Venue of the Year at the Radio 1 Dance Awards 2026. Pre-sale tickets for all three shows go live at 10am on Thursday, May 28. General ticket sales follow at 10am on Friday, May 29.
