Alesso & OneRepublic reunite on new collaboration ‘In Your Eyes’: Listen

Alesso and OneRepublic are officially back. The pair have released ‘In Your Eyes’, their long-awaited fourth collaboration. The track is out now, more than a decade after their last studio link-up.

Crucially, the collab continues one of dance music’s most storied creative partnerships. ‘In Your Eyes’ follows the genre-defining 2013 hit ‘If I Lose Myself’, the Sebastian Ingrosso-assisted ‘Calling (Lose My Mind)’, and ‘Scars’. As a result, this is the fourth chapter of a defining EDM golden-era story.

Notably, the milestone arrives just as ‘If I Lose Myself’ crosses 500 million Spotify streams. Furthermore, Alesso framed the reunion as a personal moment. “I’m so excited to finally release this collaboration. When I get the opportunity to work with Tedder and OneRepublic, something magical always happens. This single is a return to a golden era,” he said.

Meanwhile, the sound delivers on the brief. ‘In Your Eyes’ leans into devotion, destiny and unconditional love. Indeed, the track pairs Alesso‘s exuberant drops with Ryan Tedder‘s idyllic lyrics across syrupy melodies.

Equally, the timing fits Alesso‘s biggest year in a while. The Swedish producer just launched his long-awaited first US headline tour with an opener at Red Rocks Amphitheater, with San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York to follow. In short, a homecoming Stockholm show is also on the schedule.

Still, OneRepublic bring their own momentum. The band has racked up over 10 billion Spotify streams. Crucially, this ‘In Your Eyes’ reunion delivers exactly what fans have been waiting more than a decade to hear from one of dance music’s most defining cross-genre pairings.
