Timmy Trumpet switches gears with emotive new single ‘Roses’ featuring bradeazy and Richard Judge

Timmy Trumpet is switching things up with his brand-new single ‘Roses’, out now. The Australian maestro steps away from the high-energy mainstage sound he is best known for in favour of something warmer, more melodic and more emotive, joined by Beatport-topping producer bradeazy and vocalist Richard Judge.

The Australian DJ had originally lined the track up for later in the year, but moved it forward once the lyrics started to mirror exactly where he is right now, following a newly announced change in both his musical direction and his personal life.

bradeazy is the rising producer behind ‘The Baddest’, who just sold out his debut LA and New York shows, has a headline Australia and New Zealand tour incoming, and has fronted a flagship Spotify playlist cover for months. Richard Judge has previously worked with Robin Schulz. The two had been circling a collaboration with the Australian DJ for years, and finally locked ‘Roses’ in once they found the right voice for it in Judge — debuting the record live at the Australian artist’s Silo Dallas show.

“I’ve been playing bradeazy records in my radio show for the last couple years, watching his sound develop into one of the hottest bass producers on the planet. I brought him out on a college tour show and we started talking about making music together over a year ago but we knew we needed the perfect vocal. I was originally planning ‘Roses’ for the end of the year, but these lyrics reflect exactly how I feel right now so we bumped it up. Since announcing a new music direction and my separation, the love I’ve felt around the world has been overwhelming and inspiring. Everything really is coming up roses and it’s thanks to the fans — so this one is for them.”
