Alok delivered one of the most heartwarming Tomorrowland moments of the year, welcoming his mum and dad into the DJ booth for a full-family Mainstage moment on Friday July 24. Alok’s parents are both artists in their own right, part of the pioneering Brazilian psy-trance duo Ekanta. Growing up inside a household deep in the psy-trance scene, Alok has often spoken publicly about how his parents shaped everything from his musical curiosity to his relationship with the dancefloor. Bringing them on stage at the world’s biggest dance festival was a full-circle moment years in the making.

The clip shows the trio behind the decks together, with Alok clearly emotional as he introduced his parents to the De Schorre crowd. The Brazilian superstar closed his Mainstage slot with the moment, capping one of the most personal on-stage moments of Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 2 so far.

Alok remains one of the most globally recognized dance music figures out of Brazil, with billions of streams and headline slots at every major festival on earth.
