One of the most emotional moments of Tomorrowland 2026 Weekend 1 came from Belgian talent B Jones, who made her long-awaited return to the Mainstage on Sunday afternoon after publicly announcing earlier this year that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Her comeback moment in Boom instantly became one of the defining stories of the weekend.
B Jones, who has been part of the Tomorrowland extended family for years, previously shared her diagnosis with fans openly on social media, using her platform to raise awareness and to keep her community close throughout treatment. Her Weekend 1 slot was scheduled long before the news broke, making the return set at Belgium’s biggest festival all the more meaningful for her fans, her team, and the wider Belgian scene.
The set itself was a full-throttle Mainstage moment, but the emotional weight of the return was impossible to miss, both for the artist herself and for everyone watching. It stands as another reminder of just how much Tomorrowland means to the artists who call Belgium home, and how the festival community rallies around its own. Watch a clip from the return below.
