While the 21+ event remains one of Insomniac’s more intimate festival offerings, this year’s edition proved that a smaller footprint can still deliver massive energy. Set against the backdrop of a picture-perfect Southern California weekend, attendees were welcomed by warm weather and waterfront views that created the ideal atmosphere for two days of dancing. The festival featured three stages, each offering its own distinct sound while remaining just a short walk from one another, making it easy for festivalgoers to explore the full lineup without feeling rushed.
One of Into The Horizon’s biggest strengths continues to be its thoughtful layout. As the sun began to lower, the festival’s energy steadily built toward the evening headliners.
James Hype reminded everyone why he has become one of dance music’s most exciting live performers. Closing out the festival, Martin Garrix approached his headline performance with the same level of passion and production quality that fans have come to expect from his largest international appearances.
