A State of Trance Rotterdam is officially returning in 2027. Notably, Armin van Buuren's flagship trance brand will take over Rotterdam Ahoy for two full nights on 26 and 27 February 2027. Consequently, the A State of Trance Rotterdam weekend follows the landmark 25th anniversary edition that welcomed more than 45,000 fans from around the world earlier this year.
The weekend kicks off on Friday, 26 February. Furthermore, Armin van Buuren returns for another five-hour set that will span timeless classics, new sounds and unreleased material. In turn, the Friday programme unfolds across three stages of curated trance.
On Saturday, 27 February, the venue transforms into a five-area destination. Meanwhile, the Saturday line-up brings together some of the most exciting and established artists from the global trance scene, giving fans a full day of music across every side of the genre. Adding a new layer to Saturday, Armin van Buuren will open the day with an exclusive vinyl set. Beyond that, the intimate set is included for guests staying in the official hotel packages. As a result, fans can also gain access by purchasing an Early Access ticket, unlocking the special opening set before the main programme kicks off.
The official A State of Trance Rotterdam Hotel returns with exclusive two- and three-night packages. Hotel packages go on sale on 1 and 2 September 2026, with two-night packages for Friday and Saturday and three-night packages covering the full weekend. Meanwhile, weekend tickets follow on 3 September 2026.
