The Israeli duo grew up on Prydz's Pryda catalogue, and the influence runs deep through their own progressive-leaning house sound. Now, they've turned that admiration into a fully-formed rework.
“This track inspired us so much growing up,” Add9 said. “The energy and sound still represent who we are today. So we decided to give it our own modern twist.” The flip pulls the original bassline forward in the mix. It sits front and centre against modern house drums that give the groove a more current, dynamic feel. Meanwhile, the Acid 303 line that lived deep in the background of the original gets pushed to the surface. It takes the lead in the second drop, tying into the original groove and bassline and injecting new drive, movement and energy.
