Armin van Buuren has announced two new dates of his intimate piano show, and the venue makes this run especially special. The trance icon will bring the show to Radio Kootwijk on September 10 and 11, playing four piano shows across the two nights. Notably, Radio Kootwijk is an iconic Art Deco building set in the middle of the Veluwe in the Netherlands.
“Proud to announce my next piano shows,” Armin shared on Instagram. “On September 10 and 11 I’ll bring my piano show to Radio Kootwijk. A truly iconic place in the middle of the Veluwe here in The Netherlands.” He added context on the location’s history. “It originally served as a transmitter hall which could send morse code signals halfway around the world! Super proud to do 4 piano shows here.”
The Radio Kootwijk booking continues one of the most creative chapters of Armin van Buuren‘s live work. Recently, he played his biggest piano show to date at Caprera Openluchttheater. Meanwhile, the format has grown into a distinct branch of his live output, sitting alongside the club and festival sets.
The stripped-back piano concept lets Armin reinterpret his catalogue in an intimate setting. As a result, fans hear the melodies at the heart of records like ‘In and Out of Love’, ‘Shivers’ and beyond in a completely new light. Radio Kootwijk’s cathedral-like acoustics should give those interpretations extra weight. In turn, the September dates line up as some of the most atmospheric shows on his 2026 calendar.
Tickets for the September 10 and 11 Armin van Buuren piano shows at Radio Kootwijk are on sale now via Fever.
