Gorillaz' immersive exhibition House of Kong is set to open in New York City in just two weeks. Notably, the pop-up will run for a limited window from September 1 to 28. Exhibition tickets are on sale now, and the virtual band's global run of physical installations continues to sit at the sharpest edge of pop-culture crossover.

House of Kong was originally conceived as a celebration of Gorillaz‘ back-catalogue-spanning world. Consequently, the New York edition invites fans into a fully realised physical version of that universe. Meanwhile, this stop marks one of the first US-facing rollouts of the exhibition, following its successful debut runs internationally. As a result, tickets are moving fast during the pre-launch window.

The pop-up lands during one of the most active chapters of Gorillaz‘ entire touring cycle. Recently, the band unveiled ‘The Mountain Tour’ across summer 2026 Europe, headed by Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Beyond that, they also delivered a viral onstage moment when Bad Bunny joined them at that London stadium show for ‘Clint Eastwood’. In turn, the NYC exhibition arrives with peak fan momentum behind it.

House of Kong‘s scale extends the virtual band’s growing physical footprint. Crucially, it also gives US-based fans a way into the visual world of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett‘s creation without needing to catch a live show. The four-week window offers a tight collector’s-item feel, which is likely to keep on-sale traffic high through the run.

Exhibition tickets are on sale now via Gorillaz‘ official channels.
