KuCoin celebrates anniversary with Tomorrowland stage takeover

As the growth of cryptocurrency and digital assets has risen in recent years, it comes as little surprise that dance music, a very tech-forward industry itself, has often found itself intertwined with the new technologies and payment methods. With fans from around the world in Belgium in recent weeks for the annual Tomorrowland Festival, the team at KuCoin, a cryptocurrency platform, utilized the event to celebrate their 9th anniversary and raise awareness for the brand. Throughout July 24-26th, the second weekend of the festival, KuCoin took over the Celestia Stage for an exciting display of imagery, co-branding, and celebration for all in attendance.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of music fans head to Belgium for the spectacle of Tomorrowland as the world’s biggest names in dance music take the stage. This year, KuCoin, a leader in the global crypto space, celebrated its ninth year with a massive stage takeover at the festival.

The partnership was not only a celebration of 9 years of success in the crypto landscape, but also the beginning of a new chapter for the two brands. Re-shaping the Celestia Stage with a butterfly to codify the image of both brands, fans were able to experience the theme of KuCoin’s Beyond The Signal campaign through Weekend 2’s On Cloud 9 Skybox Experience. On the stage, a massive line-up consisting of Mark Knight, Mr. Belt & Wezol, Belters Only, Bingo Players with Iceman, Dada Life, Sander van Doorn and Dannic b2b Dyro delivered an endless array of pulsing rhythms and festival anthems.

For both KuCoin and Tomorrowland, the co-branded content and displays were just the beginning of a partnership that will extend throughout at least 2028 and continue at Tomorrowland Winter and the main event for the immediate future. Serving as a leader in technology and digital currency, KuCoin hopes to continue to serve as a symbol of growth and connectivity within the Tomorrowland landscape.
