KUKO has opened a new portal into his creative universe with a Tiësto remix of 'Voicemail', out now via all platforms. The Cologne-born hard techno artist welcomes one of the most influential figures in electronic music into his world. In turn, the remix marks a genuine global electronic crossover moment, bringing hard techno to a broader audience without softening its intensity.
Built around KUKO‘s signature hard techno foundation, Tiësto‘s remix of ‘Voicemail’ blends fast-paced kicks with melodic synths. The result is a high-energy dancefloor track. Meanwhile, the voicemail sample adds a human, emotional dimension. Crucially, the mix keeps the tension between brutal sound and vulnerable emotional core that defines KUKO‘s work.
“From the moment I heard this track I knew I needed to make a Tiësto remix,” Tiësto said. “I loved the atmosphere and mood in it but it was missing the Tiësto feel. Now after remixing it I personally think the record is perfect.” Notably, the remix has already been drawing rave reviews since he debuted it at EDC Las Vegas.
Originally released in 2024, ‘Voicemail’ amassed over six million streams and became a scene-defining KUKO cut. As a result, the 2026 Tiësto remix now bridges global dance legacy with the new hard techno icon. The record also lands in the middle of one of the most ambitious debut album campaigns in European electronic music. KUKO‘s debut album ‘CATHARSIS’ arrives September 25.
Beyond the release, KUKO is currently touring internationally with his All Night Long format, which is selling out across multiple cities. He has already appeared at Dour, EDC Las Vegas, Kappa FuturFestival, Teletech and Tomorrowland.
