Lilly Palmer Universal Music is now official. Notably, the German-Swiss techno standout has just delivered one of the biggest personal career announcements of 2026. Consequently, Lilly Palmer Universal Music Germany and Island Berlin mark a huge major-label chapter for the artist. Furthermore, her first release on the new deal - 'Hey You' - drops on 28 August.
“Today I’m so proud and excited to announce that I’ve officially signed with Universal Music Group, Universal Music Germany and Island Berlin,” Palmer wrote. “Years of hard work, passion, and countless late nights led to this moment. I’m joining an incredible team that understands and shares the vision of my brand and my music and it already feels like coming home for me.”
Palmer also reflected on the wait for the right deal. “This year reaffirmed something for me: saying no, honoring your boundaries, and having the patience to wait for better opportunities will always work in your favor over time,” she added. Furthermore, she thanked her core team, including partner Egbert and manager DONS. Meanwhile, she signed off with a rally cry: “Lets fking gooo, first release will be HEY YOU on August 28th.”
The Lilly Palmer Universal Music signing caps a huge year for one of techno’s most in-demand headliners. Recently, WRY covered Tomorrowland’s 2026 aftermovie as part of the same summer that saw her techno peers hitting career highs. Beyond that, WRY also revisited Charlotte de Witte’s UK activity as the techno landscape stretches into autumn. As a result, all eyes now turn to ‘Hey You’ as her first statement of the new chapter.
